No Prehensilizing!

Sarah and I have now been through all three seasons of Black Books...

This would be rather less depressing if that meant there were more than six episodes in each season.

Being in this situation feels much like the just-unwrapped-the-last-christmas-present feeling when I was five.

Now, to cut that period of mourning short - where can I find some Spaced DVDs?

Heh, heh.

I Can't Think Of Anything To Type In Here, So You Might As Well Just Read What I Wrote In The Post Instead.

I apologise for the lack of activity on this blog, but nothing much has been happening since the last post. Not even things that aren't worth talking about. I'll write down every exception I can think of.

-Sarah and I attempted to make jelly (it was Green Flavour™) the other night, but a silverfish fell out of the box when we dumped the contents into a bowl. I think we ended up eating bread.

-I've been taking advantage of the stupidly hopeless AI on Ground Control II by trying to beat a full grid of AI players on each map. I've been more successful than I'd hoped, and believe me when I say I wish there were a way to make the game challenging.

-I've been progressing through my reading list. This is a list of books that I have yet to read but would like to complete. It's basically been the same all year. I'll write out the list now in chronological order according to when they were added to the list. I'll put it where the rest of my 'Things I've Done' list would go if I actually did anything worth mentioning.

Jean-Paul Sartre - Nausea.

...

I'm off to play some Ground Control now.

Some Words By Someone Other Than Me

You see, I think drugs have done some good things for us. I really do. And if you don't believe drugs have done good things for us, do me a favor. Go home tonight. Take all your albums, all your tapes and all your CDs and burn them. 'Cause you know what, the musicians that made all that great music that's enhanced your lives throughout the years ... rrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreal fucking high on drugs. The Beatles were so fucking high they let Ringo sing a few songs. — Bill Hicks

Also, Catherine's changed her name to Sarah. She kept using the line, 'That's my name, don't wear it out' whenever someone called her by 'Catherine', but unlike most people, she actually meant it. It wore out, see. This new one should last quite a while.

I Don't Feel So Good...

Catherine and I saw X-Men III this afternoon. I pretty much ate a whole bag of marshmallows to myself while I was watching it, and now it's coming back to me in the form of stomach cramps.

The film was great, but I'll have to deduct points for Wolverine's "NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!" near the end.

New policy after that Star Wars 3 thing.

Also, I may be taking up karate now (and this time, I mean it). And Catherine already has.

And one other thing:

What's with that? Did it warrant a whole blog?

Think Big And Grow With MSN

...Ergh. Given the content of 95% of the emails that arrive in my hotmail inbox, I don't think I want MSN sending me emails with that as a subject line. Not that I've even looked at the subject lines of the crap in the spam folder in a long time...

Hi! :)

*delete*

how r u?

etc.

Moving along...They have finally updated my inbox storage space to 25MB.

Seeing as I rarely check it any more, I can only assume it happened within the past two months. I only had three new emails (that weren't junk mail). Two were from someone I knew who'd responded to an ad...one of those silly 'Get A Free iPod If You Click Here! things...and one was from MSN telling me what a great service hotmail was.

But isn't that lovely? I have 25MB to keep my spam in now.

I learned how to play the Seinfeld theme. My neighbours are going to be so pissed off at me...

Muahahaaaa.
