Woe is me. Long, five-hour car trips are fun when my dear sister is in the same car.

With her CD collection.

Red hot Chili Peppers and Eminem.

Hoo-boy.

I had to take a long shower afterwards. There was steel-wool involved. And turps.

More update soon, I promise!

(HAHAHAHAAAAA!!!!! SUCKERS!!!)

The Battle of Mt. Hovermoose

OK...if anyone who reads this hasn't seen Hero yet, go do so now. Even if you're in your pajamas and it's 12:38am on Sunday. And the year is 2312.

There are swords and stuff.

There is also fighting.

Often with swords!

I'd be a little more coherent, but I'm just kinda struck dumber-than-usual. Mostly because of the movie.

OK, OK, while the fight-scenes were generally great, some of the actors really enjoyed striking dorky poses (probably to get the opponent to cringe, thereby distracting them). But for this kind of movie it actually had a pretty good story...and a well-executed ending, too. Didn't really see it coming.

(WOW! Who'd have thought that China would have been unified?)

Joking. It was surprising. Seriously.

Try our Menagerie Surprise! Now with extra peacock!

Electric Chikken says:
Future Sound Of London have a song called 'Vertical Pig'

Taqwa - Admiral Baconstraps says:
lol, i want one!

Electric Chikken says:
Look, you want all sorts of weird animals. The Vertical Pig'll probably just end up sitting in the backyard with your Marzipan Unicorn, and the Coaxial Octopus, and the 1337 133mur.

Taqwa - Admiral Baconstraps says:
ahh.. that 1337 133mur was fun for a whole 10 mins

Taqwa - Admiral Baconstraps says:
then he h4x0r3d me good, and i got sick of him

Browsing like a FOX!

OK, I'm going to stop mentioning that I use Opera, and plugging it at every opportunity from now on.

The main reason for ceasing this shameful plugging is that I am now using Firefox 1.0.

If you use the Internet at all, then I recommend you check it out.

There's even a link in the sidebar over there...

Operation Embryo

Incidentally, if you like free-wheeling plots that pretty much go nowhere but are hilarious anyway, but think that The Hitch Hiker's Guide To The Galaxy had too much time travel, then click here. Stuff is being written by Christop, y'see.

('tis a NaNoWriMo thing...)

A giant robot that kills stuff! Just what I always wanted for christmas!

Apparently I am one of these:

Check it out, you're an ABC Warrior!

In bars frequented by colossal death robots, you're always the quiet guy at the back who no-one ever bothers. And for good reason. You've fought in several nuclear wars, could beat the sun in a staring match, and have a chin larger than many articles of furniture. Morals are not a concept you understand, but strangely enough, nobody ever questions your judgement. Usually because they're dead. Even Judge Dredd wets himself when you turn up. Grrrr.

ABC Warrior!
Which Colossal Death Robot Are You?
Brought to you by Rum and Monkey

Actually, I guess I am kinda like ABC warrior. Aside from the killing and the guns and the nuclear wars. I've only fought in one, you see.

Incidentally, I got this quiz from Lucas' blog. Go to the link on the sidebar, bitch! ABC ROBOT COMMANDS YOU! (I can't be othered linking it here)

NoNaNoWriMo

NaNoWriMo has officially started!

AND I'M NOT IN IT! HOORAY!

They keep sending me emails (my account's still around from last year), so it's very hard to resist making more work for myself on top of what I have to do for TAFE. But I think I'll manage.

That is all.
